Stories and songs from the Dark Ages

For those who want something simpler and of the earliest recorded style of entertainment.

From the early Dark Ages The Travelling Talesman and Rigantona will bring you early stories and early music.

Drawing on the period of 500AD to 750AD our storyteller brings the earliest known English tales to your table – meet Wayland the Smith and his friends.

Music from Rigantona from the Dark Ages is interspersed with the stories, and sometimes subtley accompanies them.

This is the simplest of our shows however it is none the less captivating for it. Celebrate joyously as our ancestors would have done.

Ideally suited to a simple buffet meal such as hog roast it can also be tailored to fit around a plated meal if required.
